Okay, being a southern girl I know all about pecans. This is an unusual flavor. Still unsure if it's pecan I am actually tasting but it does have a decent nutty flavor that is NOT hazelnut or peanut. Maybe... Walnutty? A bit sharp. I made a Banana 'Pecan' mix from this using a bit of Bavarian cream to cut the sharpness of the pecan. (I may have used too much pecan flavor for a first time with this.) My banana nut is delicious. Tastes just like banana nut bread! Excellent quality, great packaging, fast shipment!
